Tomas Basile (b.1988, Argentina) is a film maker, contemporary artist, film editor and producer. He has created video installations, music videoclips, soundtracks and advertising works for broadcast television. Amongst his independent short films, Basile has explored several of his personal inquiries regarding religious faith, biblical speech and existentialism while composing vivid aesthetic sequences. His work is mostly inspired in the bizarre and chunky RGB late 80's films, broadcast television and advertisements, strengthened with collage techniques and color composing. He has also collaborated in several artistic productions, creating projected animated scenography for ballets and theater pieces.
